What is the minimum number of table bookings to use The Ballroom for wedding banquet exclusively?
No minimum of tables for exclusive use of The Ballroom, but a minimum food and beverage spending shall apply.

The Ballroom could be divided into two individual sections for hosting up to two weddings at the same time.

Where is the stage and service area when the Ballroom is shared by different weddings?
For two weddings hosted on the same floor, individual stages will be set up in the front of each venue and each venue has a separate entrance for food serving.

If the actual number of table is less than the number of tables booked, how would you handle the remaining?
Guaranteed minimum tables or minimum food and beverage charge shall apply.

How many extra tables can be added on the event day?
The Hotel will set up tables according to guest’s confirmed minimum and expected attendance prior to the wedding; and no extra table will be set up on the actual date.

Including chairs set up, the distance between two tables will be approximately 1.5 feet.

If some tables have 13 guests, will the portions of some dishes (such as conpoy) be adjusted as those ingredients are prepared according to the number of guests? Is there any extra charge?
Each table seats 12 guests. If there is extra guest(s). An extra fee per person will be charged (original price of the selected menu divided by 12).

If there are two weddings hosted on the same day and my selected venue is closer to the kitchen, will dishes of the other wedding be served via my venue?
Our kitchen is located separately from the venue and dishes will be served without crossing the other venue.

Are there any other extra charges other than the 10% service fee?
All costs incurred in addition to the Wedding Package selected or not included in the contract terms will be extra charges, such as fresh floral arrangement, crew meal, additional pre-dinner snacks etc.

If wedding banquets need to be canceled in times of typhoons and accidents, can venue package be transferred or what is your deposit policy?
Events can be postponed when Typhoon Signal No.8 or Rainstorm Black Warning is to be hoisted on the event day. The rescheduled date shall be within (3) calendar months from the original date, rescheduled date is subject to mutual agreement between the Hotel and guest(s).

What is your canceling policy?
If wedding is canceled after agreement is signed, deposit received will be forfeited. 80% of the estimated food and beverage consumption fee will be charged if wedding is cancelled within 6 months prior to the event date. Full estimated food and beverage consumption fee will be charged if wedding is cancelled within 3 months prior to the event date. However, it varies from case by case depending on the booking lead time.

Hotel do not recommend self-brought-in food item (except dried melon seeds) and a food indemnity form is requested to sign for any self-arranged food items and subject to the approval of the Hotel. Free corkage to be extended for own wines / hard liquor for the wedding.

How many times can each credit card be used to settle payment? Can Asia Miles be redeemed?
We do not limit the numbers of payment by each credit card as long as the card limit is not exceeded and able to make valid payment transaction.
No Asia Miles can be earned by confirming a wedding banquet at The Mira Hong Kong.
