Try Hand-picked Sake from HYOGO, Japan’s Largest Sake-producing Region
Marking the new season, we bring you sake from Hyogo Prefecture famous for premium Yamada Nishiki rice grown in favorable day-to-night temperature variance conditions and pure mineral-rich water from Mt. Rokko (miyamizu), combined with immense expertise in sake craft handed down for generations among families of brewers.
Among 6 choices hand-picked by our Hotel Sommelier, you may try versatile styles of sake such as sparkling sake from Fukuju Brewery which prides itself on producing its Koji by hand, unpasteurised Nama Genshu Junmai Daiginjo style of sake in its purest form, or one of the two premium picks from Domaine Kurodasho deeply influenced by the Burgundy winery philosophy bottled with cork instead of metal caps and marked with vintage, exhibiting exceptionally nuanced flavours!
