Each night of the Durian Bonanza presents an opportunity to discover strikingly different durians from a seasonal selection of 20 varieties* that will appear throughout the event series.
Among the all-you-can-eat offerings, you may encounter crowd favorites such as D13 Golden Bun, D24 Sultan, X.O, D101 Mas, milky Susu, D1 GangHai, and D2 Dato Nina for a touch of nostalgia, alongside prized Black Pearl from Johor, buttery D145 Hijau Besera with floral notes and a lingering finish, or rare Penang-origin varieties such as bold, orange-fleshed Marangang and the sticky, old-tree cultivar Tang Lai.

The Golden Age of Nyonya: Authentic Peranakan Cuisine
Bursting with flavours and aromatic Peranakan cuisine is steeped in Malaysia’s history and an important part of its culture blending Malay and Chinese culinary traditions into unique style of Baba Nyonya, preserved by family households and countless restaurants across the country.
During this richly layered experience you’ll be able to savor more than 10 authentic Nyonya specialties curated by the Culinary Team of The Mira guided by the Nyonya cuisine expert, showcasing spicy and sour Asam Laksa, creamy and savory Nanas Lemak Udang, and intensely aromatic “Pork Rib Tea”.
Be sure to save some room for 10 vibrantly colored traditional Malaysian sweets ranging from Coconut Palm Sugar Rice Parcels wrapped in Banana Leaves to delicate Onde Onde rice dumplings. You will also be able to compose your own Ais Kacang at the live station and enjoy a selection of durian desserts, with indulgent durian chocolate fountain and more!

Enjoy Vibrant Entertainment: Celebrity Singer Performance & Cultural Dance in a Nyonya-styled Setting
Get ready for an unforgettable experience at the penthouse Ballroom of The Mira transformed into a colorful, nostalgic and elegant setting inspired with a Nyonya-stylised mansion.
Exclusively on the opening night (Jul 13) be amazed by the Malaysian Prince of Dolphin Voice, Rax Teh, performing live on stage with a set of heart-throbbing songs at a whistle-like pitch.
On the first three nights of the series (13 – 15 Jul) witness the authentic cultural dance showcasing rich culture of Malaysia and have fun as stand-up comedian Monkey D entertains you through the evening as our MC!
